Czech Republic auto major Skoda Motors recently launched the much talked hatchback in India with new hope to cajole car lovers. The mid-sized sedan is blessed with majestic looks and includes mostly the same features as the Vento. The newly launched hatchback is the modified form of Volkswagen, developed at Volkswagen’s manufacturing plant, which is located in Chennai.
Powered by 1,598 cc engine, the new Skoda Rapid is available at the price of Rs 9 lakh and developed to be sold in mainly developing countries. It is produced with German technology that ensures the better performance and mileage. The much efficient and highly advanced engine of the Skoda Rapid easily churns out a peak power of 105 PS at the rate of 5250 rpm and max torque of 153 N-m at the rate of 3750 rpm.
The Skoda Rapid sports with 5 speed manual transmission, includes advanced combustion technology that ensures excellent mileage of 14 kmpl.
